This unusual decorative slate is as attractive as it is useful and will work equally well in a hallway or living room as on the kitchen wall. A real piece of slate is set in a rustic, painted wood frame. A bundle of driftwood sits at the top of the frame and a sea-worn stone hangs down from here to add a little extra detail to the piece. The maritime theme is continued in the sailors' knots in rope at the bottom of the frame.A handy wooden peg can be used to hold a piece of chalk or for letters or notes that you need to keep front of mind. It measures 42.5cm x 32.5 cm.
